Priorities

Louisiana’s future depends on roads, bridges, ports, and broadband that actually work. Julie will fight to bring federal dollars home efficiently, without the waste and delay that too often accompany them. She believes smart infrastructure investments create jobs today and strengthen communities for decades.

Energy isn’t just part of Louisiana’s economy. It’s part of our identity. Julie will stand up for the workers and small businesses that power this state, cutting red tape and restoring confidence to an industry Washington has too often treated as a villain. America needs Louisiana energy, and Louisiana needs leaders who will defend it.

Julie believes every parish should have a fair shot at growth. From manufacturing and logistics to film, tech, and tourism, she’ll champion policies that attract investment and keep young people building their futures here at home. Her focus is on jobs that pay well, last long, and lift whole communities.

Protecting our coast isn’t optional — it’s survival. Julie will push for long-term coastal restoration, smarter flood mitigation, and accountability for every dollar spent. She understands that safeguarding Louisiana’s coastline means protecting our families, our energy infrastructure, and our way of life.

Government should work as hard as the taxpayers who fund it. Julie will target duplication, streamline permitting, and make Washington answer for how it spends Louisiana’s money. Less bureaucracy means more progress and a government that finally gets out of the way of growth.

When hurricanes hit or rivers rise, Louisiana can’t afford to wait on Washington. Julie will fight for faster disaster response, smarter rebuilding, and real reform at FEMA. She’ll make sure recovery is about results, not red tape.

Louisiana’s farmers and rural communities feed and fuel our state. Julie will protect their interests with better trade access, stronger infrastructure, and fair treatment from federal regulators.

Politics today rewards conflict over results. Julie Emerson believes Louisiana can lead by example — showing that strength and civility can coexist. She’ll work to solve problems and moving the country forward. Almost every major reform she’s passed in the last 2 years has had bipartisan support–not because Republicans had to compromise, but because there was active dialogue about how the policies would move Louisiana forward. She’ll work with President Trump and everyone in Congress to the bring the same results in Washington.
